Re: Something new

1/72 was always my favorite scale! Detail good without taking up lots of room - especially good for dioramas. From the look of the models you are presenting here -- the detail is better than ever. And your doing some good work with it Ober - Nice! I don't see myself getting back into 1/72 since I'v...

B17 @ Bar Hrbor Arprt Maine

So I was on Vacation this past week and I was driving down the road and this was there - a B17 Bomber. You can take a walk through for $10 or $20 for family. Very cool - best thing I did on vacation! You can also get a ride if you have lots of money. For $850 you can take a ride here: IMG_2272.JPG F...

The original Issue: I didn't seat the piece in question here so the gun barrel would drop at the slightest jarring. I didn't label the picture but you can tell by the glue jo...

Re: GF9 starter panther/jagdpanther

Wow!!! Those are outstanding! Did you use an airbrush for the camo or a stifling brush? Something I've had in mind for a long time and have tried many methods. Stipple kind of thing but on a smaller scale. I was thinking it needed a different kind of paint applier so I tried rolled up paper, and ot...

GF9 starter panther/jagdpanther

So - finally got the German Panther/Jagdpanther done. You might say I'm a tad off on the prolific side especially this time of year. But here they/it is: 005crop.JPG 009.JPG Learning from another thread I used the magnet method with my own twist: 008 ID.JPG and another use of the magnets: 013.JPG
