It Was Fun. 200pts.

The German Build was formations from the Expanded Rules Book. 2 Veteran Infantry Platoons, 3 SS Elite Platoons, 5x Pnzr MKII.

The Americans consisted of 1x Corsair, 6x Buffalo Soldiers, 3x M1, 3x Thompson, 2x Rangers, 2x Bazooka, 1x Untested Recruit, 2x Marine Sgt. 1x RDC, 3x M1919MG, 3x M8 75MM Pack Howitzerx 2x Sherman 105.

The dice had the deciding factor. We both some good & some bad.......we will try it again.

The boards are ftom Deluxe Advanced Squad Leader, 2.25" hexes & some adjustment for multi hex buildings & in building/out of building, LOS was touching the obstacle, not just the hexside. Opened some tight but legal shots.....played a lot like Squad Learder & ASL except with minis instead of cardboard squares. These boards will see more use now, very interesting.

great post. I've always considered those ASL maps. I'm glad someone is using for this game.

:bowty: Are these boards available already in the 2.25 in. hexes Curt or did you have to enlarge and print them to that size?

They came this way, 2.25 ince hexes. I bought them in the late 80's or Early 90's. They were/are for Deluxe ASL & were to help reduce stacking piles & for Micro Armor miniatures. They work fine, with some LOS & Elevation in buildings/hills tweaking, ASL scale was 40 meters per hex, just tinker a bit & they work great. Thanks for looking. The Modules they come from are
For 4 City Boards it is "Streets of Fire" the Countryside/Bocage 4 boards is "Hedgerow Hell".

@Loco,
In your search for these mapboards, you might try looking at MutliMan Publishing. I recall seeing somewhere that they do a lot of Squad Leader/Advanced Squad Leader stuff, this might be a good place to start looking for them.
