PSCo. Churchill - 2 varients

Unread post by Locozugmeister » Mon Jul 28, 2014 8:54 pm

:bowty: This is the first of my PSCo. Churchills. I like the kit as it gives you many options from which to build. The kit provides a turret option for the early or late cast turret. Having this option I chose to make a Churchill AVRE Mk. III with a Petard mortar and a Churchill Mk. V cast turret with the 95mm Howitzer. I can use the same chassie and just replace the turret with which ever I want depending on the game. The only part missing for the second turret is the square hatch which is easly replaced.

Excellent details in those sculpts.....they look like some of the best PSCo Ive seen. Nicely done also.

What are these fenders and plating for? (4 pieces in the foreground) I can't see where they were used on your versions.

:bowty: Extra pieces if you choose to make the full front fenders Herr Ober. I left them off some of mine and add them to others for a variation. The larger pieces go on the inside of the front tracks and the fenders go over the top of that.

Thanks! Looks like most AVREs had the front fenders removed so I'm not going to bother with them either.

:bowty: Good choice. I think it looks better with the tracks exposed.
