This section is for posting and discussing platoon or army builds. You can post your builds for advice or just keep your master army list here. If you have custom platoon cards you are free to post them here also. You can post your booster or case openings here too.

I'm new to this game and am buying some units as a starter. My friends ain't buying AAM yet, so i'm trying to buy enough units to have some possibility's with my own units.

The problem is, i have a lot of German tanks, but only 2 US tanks and some tanks from russia. (I will try to copy a list of my units.)

I would recommend figuring out you need to get operational and buy from the singles market instead of boosters. That way you don't end up with a lot of stuff you don't need. But when you do have extra units I recommend trading through trades threads. Our card database will be helpful at determining what is available. http://www.tintirinti.com/search_AAM.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks FMO,

The problem is, most players are in the states. Sending units across the atlantic is to expensive.
I do visit the states on a regular basis, but dont know about trading abroad.

If you would buy 10 boosters, what theatre would you buy?

I would buy N. Africa and Counter offensive boosters. Buy 1939-45 or Eastern Front Boosters on sight , they rare and 15mm. Are there dealers in Europe that sell singles? Like this site: http://www.miniaturemarket.com/collecti ... llies.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Here two more, I've found to be good: http://www.coolstuffinc.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; , http://www.trollandtoad.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
But Miniature Market is the best.

Thanks for the links,

My country has a tax free import value of about $25,-.
So when i order from overseas, my pieces will become very expensive.
I was hoping for some good european shops, but they are rare.

Perhaps i will order a bunch when i visit the states. When you enter Holland by plane, you are allowed to take about $500. Can get me 2 big booster packs.

Hey, I was wondering if I can post what I order in singles online on this section. The guidelines said booster openings, so I'm not sure.

Just start a thread here in Platoon and Army builds.

the best marked for Minis is on Ebay, not as single, the vendors put on ekstra for compensate for ebay fee, but look for lots from private sellers where you can do some good bargains,

I have done some good deals recently,
and you get 3 times (at least) as many minis than single purchase, there are vendors who also participates in the auction, but they will stop at a point where it is not prudent to buy for resale, only small minus is that you will get minis that you do not need,
but in my opinion, it is worth it. minis you do not need, you can trade with other collectors, here or on forumini,
one example I did the other day.
for around 50 $. I got 4 x 88mm flakes 36, two of them with shield, 2 x Tiger 1, 2x king tiger. 5 x zero fighters
and many infantry I don´t know what is yet. only extra surprise bonus.

Unfortunately, there are many who do not send world wide and only domestic U.S..
I'm lucky to have a friend in the U.S. that I can use as my shipping address.

it is perhaps not wise to mention eBay's treasury, fewer competitors in the bidding round is best, but there is for all of us.

cheers
