Graviteam Tactics: Operation Star

Unread post by sismis » Fri Apr 14, 2017 6:24 pm

There is currently 75% sale on Steam for this game http://store.steampowered.com/app/27529 ... _4_1400_45

It looks quite good, people are praising quite a bit. A serious downside is steep learning curve.

Mission is split into two parts, deployment phase

and tactics phase

It looks very interesting, mortar fire, spotters, artillery and spread, guns losing accuracy and damage with distance.. They even have communication units placing telephone lines!
I'm still on the verge - it looks like serious time is needed to start playing it..

I'm fed up with World of Tanks and have been looking for another WWII game to play in my spare time. A friend suggested a new version of the old 'Panzer General' game that is around on the net. This looks interesting too. A steep learning curve doesn't seem to good though. My self disgnosed ADHD might not like it. I you squeeze the trigger on this, I would be interested is some more information on it.

O yeah, a new Panzer Corps.

I have started Panzer General on two occasions, when it arrived all those years ago, and some time later. Couldn't finish first mission. Then I changed sides, figuring I'll run over AI now. Well, I lost again and forgot about the game :D
I lost confidence, started drinking, stopped shaving and bathing, been living under a bridge since :D
