And best thing is you can make cut hay on the ground with any size you want, unlike my doormat which was too long. Whoever thought of that is pure genius..

Some more terrain for Tanks, but I added fences since I had spare wire and cardboard at hand. Wire was regular, wrapped manually. It was to be minefield border, but can double as barbed wire.

Houses and sheds are made again from foamcore. This time I have painted window frames. I always wanted to make swamp from cd as it's kind of a shiny and half transparent plastic. Effect didn't turn that strong as I hoped for, but isn't bad either. It's surface is covered with highly diluted brown and green color so some shininess goes through. Wet effect is accentuated with few layers hair spray as sealing.

In the end I remembered that I have no crates, both as objective and terrain feature so I quickly created it. It didn't work out for foamcore with painting it brown and drybrushing light brown - it's edges and sides are rough and spongy. It would be much better if I had painted it light tan and ended with brown wash.

Shell holes are quickie, made from foam core and worked out nice.

Edit: I forgot to add, roofs are deliberately made in low angle so in games with infantry units can be placed on top as inside the building.

Game was great, everybody enjoyed and want to play more!

I was thinking about more but we settled for 160 points per side on 3 vs 3 players, so each usually wielded 2 tanks. Panther, Jagdpanther, Tiger, PzIV, Stug G, Puma and Pz III. Pz III proved a tough opponent. Vs Shermans and Cromwells.

Not a pretty sight for Cromwells

After fierce battle and a lot of maneuvers, the only axis units left were the Puma and PzIII !! Allied even lost no tanks.. but some were heavily damaged. Axis side surrendered.. it was late, and they were surrounded.

The battle took 3 hours so it was good decision not use many tanks. They were default, without any upgrades.

Allied tanks went aggressive and left their side of the map

PzIII proved hard to hit, and dealt damage like big boy!

Final blow!
