folks...I got the "PM" about my desert buildings, and I must say...I had to "UP" my game a little. With this opportunity, I came up with this sample. I plan (as time is available) to revamp my future construction of my desert buildings, and convert them into something with this type of detail(s). There was a place and time for the older styled buildings, but as Loco would say..."there were NO Romanians at DDAY!" which has nothing to do with this topic; however, change is always good! So I continue my journey into this madness called terrain work with new frontiers to see, and overcome. As a wise man once said... "A walk around the WORLD begins with one step!", and a WISER man once said..."A walk around the WORLD begins with one step BACKWARDS...google the images, and photoshop yourself in the images to prove you were there! You'll save yourself a bunch of time and money!". Okay, I might have mis-quoted the WISER guy! :) thank you for your time.

It does look nicer than my ad hoc Desert Terrain for sure...but being as it is dano's creation, no surprise there...lol

The type rocks I have been using, Pink Coral Granite as it is called IIRC, are generally used for landscaping, rock driveways & whatnot. I got about 4 coffee cans full when a neighbor removed them from their yard when the landscaping was changed to smaller decomposed granite & they told anyone who wanted them to help themselves to all they wanted. One neighbor did a driveway & a landscaper took the rest of the pile.

these are the newer styled desert buildings. these will have a bit more texture, stronger construction, and a little extra paint.
