Using formations & then points to fill to 150, here is the Japanese Infantry build:

1x Japanese Defending Infantry 26 pts.
(2x Wire, 1x Pillbox, 1x Sniper, 3x Arisaka, 1x Lt. Mtr., 1x MG)

1x Japanese Infantry Platoon 26 pts.
(1x Imp. Sgt., 5x Arisaka, 1x Lt. Mtr.)

3x Type 99 LMG @ 4/12 pts.
2x Type 92 MG @ 7/14 pts.
2x Type 92 70 MM art. @ 10/20 pts.
2x Jungle Spotter @ 6/12 pts.
6x Wire @ .5//3 pts.
2x Mines @ 2/ 4 pts.
1x Imperial Sgt. @ 9
3x SNLF Fanatics @ 7/21pts.
1x Arisaka @ 3

150 pts. I think.....

Units "Attached" to the Japanese & USA to come shortly, working out how they arrive into the game as Reinforcements & the units for part 2 & the rest of the map coming into play.

USA sets up up east of the stream, Japan in cover hexes/tunnels/caves in the set up area west of the stream. The 70 MM may set up in the hills with the road junction OR the town/hills on the southwest corner. They are "Enternched" use UK Ent. ATG. SA

Japan sets up first.

This is not forgotten....with new maps, 2x sets of the Able 1/2 Baker 1/2, 2" hexes, the landscape might be changing some & the Japanese have gotten some new surprises from Santa as well....I can say that most of the Japanese build will be from the two sets of formations with other things added in. It might get too big......is that good or bad....... :-)

Still tinkering with this. It is difficult since I have more or less lost my gaming buds. Life stinks sometimes...I have been doing it solitaire, so it is slow going, but what I have gotten thus far is quite interesting. It is still mostly a compilation of several battles from the Pacific Theater, which allows for more diverse action & units to see tabletime.

I will post when it seems playable & not appear just a jumble of units thrashing around on the map.

Solitaire works great for me. heck I can't remember why I went to the kitchen let alone what strategy I was planning yesterday.
