I'd say we're all old diamond geezers here! Except dano - being the young gentleman he is -- is just a diamond in the "rough". Or just A Diamond geezer.

A bit of a tangent here:
Maybe geezer came from those Canadian geese - some kind of extrapolation - tough old goose/ yeah he was a tough old geezer???????????????

Diamond in the rough may not be so cool a statement . just using the play on the word rough being an association with terrain - rough terrain and Dano being a diamond ............. no offense meant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
