I have various pictures I would like to use as an avatar for myself, but they all seem too big to fit the format.
How do I make a picture fit?

To resize your avatar to a 90 pixel size open it in paint, gimp or photoshop. Select resize option and the pixels option. Resize it so no one dimension is over 90 px and save it as a .bmp, .jpeg or .gif. Save it down to your computer and its ready to upload to your profile under the user profile.

I have also used this website a few times with success. Sometimes it can be tricky to get the output to be under the size max depending on the original image.
